Student Life and Facilities
At Waseley Sixth the common room is the centre of Sixth Form life. Here students have a place where they are able to socialise at break and lunchtimes and make use of their very own space. It really is the ’hub’ of the Sixth Form and we encourage students to take responsibility for its cleanliness and contribute to its upkeep. We are continually investing in the space available to students and will be welcoming our long awaited vending machine shortly!
When in supervised study students can make use of our dedicated study area: a Sixth Form computer room and a silent study space. In addition students are welcome to use their own ICT equipment within these spaces and make use of the Sixth Form Wifi. Students are expected to drive their own independent learning, seeking wider reading for all of their subjects and going ‘above and beyond’ the expectations to better their own outcomes.
